International Games Development Institute


The International Games Development Institute is an annual workshop that introduces teacher from the United States and around the world to the basics of building games software, so they can bring hands-on experience back to the classroom. Developed by World Class Schools in conjunction with cooperating schools in Sweden, Italy, Russia, Poland, Georgia, and with the help of ALOUD- this program has the top professionals in the video game industry instructing teachers from various areas of the United States and other countries. The purpose of the this Institute is to provide the teachers with a world class understanding of video game technology and to then have them impart this knowledge to their students. Through unique abilities of video conferencing and audio conferencing, the IGDI will work to develop a new international standard of excellence in education.
